Recent custom orders

This winter I've been working on some custom orders for friends! One of my high school classmates recently sent me the mink coat her husband's grandma used to wear. It was a beautiful mink coat with an awesome lining-it even had her initials in it. :) After the holiday festivities settled down I went to work on the wonderful bear! She now resides in Colorado with her new family!
I also visited with the fire chief's wife Lori and we discussed the bears and I showed her some photos of the bears I've made for people. So she brings out some firefighter fabric for a bear to be made for her husband(He's the fire chief on my husband's department) and then finds a pair of her mom's jeans! I soon went to work creating her bears!
I love creating bears that will be special for years to come! :)

Here comes Peter Cottontail...and his friends!

The Bunnies are starting to arrive here for Easter! Stay tuned for more!

here's some of the wonderful creations I've made recently! this big guy was made for a special little boy! this fun gal was created as a gift for one of our friends this Christmas...she is made from a vintage chenille bedspread. I love her so much I think I'll make some more! St Valentine! My first primitive guy...he's now residing outside of New Orleans!

Wow it's been awhile!

so it's been awhile since I've been on here! I didn't realize I had basically skipped a whole year! 2013 has brought a few changes and things are starting to get busy in 2014 already! I kept busy with a few special orders for Christmas for some friends and local people, I've started creating new animals to add to the list for the Bailey's Bruins Zoo! Now for 2014 I started off the year with making a special bear for a long time friend from her grandma in law's mink coat. We are planning the first big craft show in June-the Strawberry Festival in Kimmswick MO! If you are in the area come check it out and stop by our booth! My goal for 2014 is to start blogging more and coming up with new ideas!
